Communicators for Change at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (CC@MIIS) will host the first iConference ever in the history of the Monterey Peninsula. The 2009 Communicating Change in a Complex World iConference will take place on Friday November 20th in Monterey CA, and live @communicators4change.org. The iConference will feature panel discussions and presentations on how to successfully communicate messages of change in today’s media environment and move from advocacy to agency. Speakers will discuss the emerging roles of social media and grassroots mobilization as vehicles for change and share stories and strategies from their careers.
