Communicators for Change (CC@MIIS) is proud to present a video of the panel discussion Virtual Diplomacy?: The Role of Social Media in Bridging Divides, which took place on November 20th, 2009 at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA. The panel featured Joshua Fouts and Rita King of Dancing Ink Productions and Second Life journalist Bernhard Drax. Virtual Diplomacy, which was moderated by MIIS student and Pathfinder editor Julia Steger Foster, explored the promise and pitfalls of social media to facilitate an international, interfaith and intercultural dialogue on peaceful coexistence.
